Moving to Lawrence, Kansas

July 28th, 2008

I’m moving to Lawrence, Kansas, next week to start law school. My new contact information is:

Kansas Law ‘11 Facebook group

April 11th, 2008

High school classmate Evan North, who recently decided to attend KU Law this fall (it’s a small world), created a Facebook group for the class of 2011. Thanks to Jackie Meirick for tipping me off at Law School Numbers. I’d like to think it’s the savvy kids who join first; others might call that the first merit badge on our gunner sashes.

Frontline on Iraq war

March 30th, 2008

Last week, PBS’s Frontline aired a four hour, two-part documentary on the United States war in Iraq. My brother, parents, and I all happened to watch its premiere. Each of us thought it excellent. Frontline is making the video available in a special section of its Web site.

John McCain’s daughter

March 29th, 2008

In Wednesday’s Washington Post, staff writer Libby Copeland profiles Sen. John McCain’s daughter Meghan. I, like, have no comment.

Ralink 2800 driver update

March 29th, 2008

I have no idea if this is just coincidence, but a day after commenting about not discerning much progress from Ivo van Doorn in merging an rt2800 driver into the Linux kernel, he committed a new (albeit broken) one. Queue eerie music.

P.S. A public thanks to Mr. van Doorn for the work.
